Exactly, lets make a commitment to reduce taxes by 20%. I am damn sure it will reduce wasteful activity and CO2 as well. Come on people. Let's face up to reality. This council is in tax denial

It's not really fair to blame the shortcomings of Tofino Municipal government on council. Councillors do not possess a mind nor a will of their own, their function is simply vote for, and ratify, whatever Josie and District Staff tell them to vote for and ratify. That's why we have six of them, instead of four. Any mathematician will tell you that six times nothing is far more than four times nothing. Huh? Okay, let's rethink that one, in Tofino terms.... Six times nothing COSTS far more than four times nothing, 50% more. There, now it makes sense.
