Personal attacks don't help anyone... Intelligent critique and analysis please.

Ok, here's some intelligent critique.
Gord Johns was a stupid choice by the NDP who should have known more about their candidates before they even let him run for nomination let alone chose him to run federally.
Ok, here's some intelligent analysis.
His running has changed my loyalties to the Liberals. This area needs a better person in Ottawa than Gord Johns who has some of those clearly Lunnyesque qualities we so despised here.
Lunny seemingly was there for the pay cheque and rich parliamentary pension.
I don't see Gord Johns going there for any other reason either. Remember as someone who was self employed in unsuccessful businesses he has no company pension cheque.
So you want to send him off to Ottawa for a few years so he can collect a fat pension? His legacy in Tofino doesn't scream brilliance deserving of such rewards does it?

Only two people wanted to run in this riding for the NDP.While Mulcair has steered the party to the centre the party is still trying to appeal to the Eco-Weenies .How this fits in with a pro-union,working class party is beyond me.

Perhaps I've been living under a rock.......but it appears to me that Gord Johns has, so far in the campaign, done exactly what he's best at..... nothing! I haven't heard a speech, seen an interview, been enlightened as to his platform.... Is he in Canada? Is he on Vancouver Island? I suppose, for the NDP, it's all for the best. Let's hope that if he gets elected that he'll sit quietly in the backbenches and not embarass us. Hardly the type of performance one would expect for $167K.....except from a politician.
