Can you believe there are all these people contacting the Mayor to find out if they can come to Tofino. It is far more likely they will contact the hotel or vacation rental or campground, but that wouldn't put the Mayor at the center of the universe.
If it were true, DOT would have hired an additional personal secretary for her by now at $90,000.00/yr. to do the job.
And the beach parking lots are already quite busy, have been for weeks, and most of the users are not locals. I wonder if they all "Ok'd" with the Mayor. Ha Ha Her ego is hard to take sometimes.
The Mayor's task force better pick up the pace as well. They are already sounding irrelevant. We hope they don't get in the way too much.
