Down the Drain ? March 24,2011

Someone asked me today how Tofino councilors can be so adamant about water conservation when we pour thousands of gallons of treated water down the sewer main....how can the District of Tofino justify charging so much for water when we obviously have so much that we can literally pour it down the drain ?? If anyone knows how much water we are using to flush the sewer system please comment.....thanks,Ralph
