Looks like DOT intends to re-open for business this summer. How can you tell? They're expecting operators to have income and be able to pay taxes before Oct 1st. So it's already been decided, despite health authority cautions against it, to re-open regardless of the risk. Money talks. It's just not talking out loud yet. Gotta keep up the pretenses of concern for the vulnerable. Meanwhile, we'll just lie and say that we're "studying" the possibility.
It'll be interesting to see the reaction when the Trump experiment blows up and there's a resurgence in deaths due to opening up too soon.
