Could not agree more with the basic tenants of this article. What is astounding and disappointing are the responses to the article in the comments section of the Globe.
A litany of nimby thinking and naysayers. Every reason why more housing is not a good idea is offered up from the entitled readers of the Globe. Good heavens, we should never have got the country on it's feet at all with such negativity.
What a disgrace, lowest housing rates in the G7 and Canada has more land, more resources and more need, and apparently more bureaucracy.
