Who get's chopped next? Comming to a town near you!
Maybe Sally is coming back?
Do these clowns get paid extra for all of these "special" meetings they've been having lately?
theyr interviewing a CAO
Who are they interviewing for CAO? Sally?
its a secret
This is good news isnt it? i think we are blessed with the fact that we have tourism which relies on our natural emvironment and our ability to host visitors. we just need to make sure funding like this is spent wisely with the interest of the community as a whole and not special interests and studies that go no where. We can't blame "Eco-minded" individuals for this poor spending habits we have, there are many to blame in fact the whole community to blame. Stop bickering and polarizing our town and work together dammit otherwise the government will pull funding like this and we will see this town decay into an embarrassing future

You're just trying to stir the pot. They're not going to use all of council to interview for the CAO position.
Are they?
I can't imagine interviewing for CAO until after the posting closes at the end of the month.
Yeah, I can't imagine any back room dealings going on. It's all on the up n' up. They'll wait til the application deadline, strike a committee, review applications anonymously using a scoring matrix, and then interview the top three candidates.
...and then I remembered, 'You can't spell Tofino without no.'
Just read this from the DOT Jan.8/13 agenda.
"Mayor’s Closing Comments
Thanks to the community and my fellow Council members, it has truly been a pleasure. I
regret that my time as Mayor ended sooner than the term, but I am very competent that
leadership exists in the community and that this Council will continue to do great things. I am
proud of some of the things we did accomplished, one of which is the water infrastructure;
there was no water shortage this year. Although there are tough decisions to be made, I have
seen this community pull together in some great ways, which I am very proud of. As a small
town, the community needs to work together because I still see neighbor against neighbor and
it is just not very productive. I am not a fan of the anonymous post; I think it is a sign of bullies
and cowards. It’s not productive in anyway, and that is the sad underbelly of this community
and I don’t think it serves well in anybody’s long term interest to work that way. I can’t think of
any great people that have done anything that have been anonymous and that have changed
the world. That is my last calming thoughts for a community that has to work together"
Gag me with a spoon! Tell the former president of Egypt that the anonymous have no power not to mention other deposed leaders in that part of the wold. It was the anonymous social networkers that brought about change!
He didn't seem to hate the blog before he was elected !

Agree, gag me with a spoon. But really, it's the hourglass that has got us to this stupid point! None of us like the anonymous post, and none of us needed it until the stupid hourglass was implemented. We just all talked. Like normal people in a small town! Simple! No 2 day workshops brainwashing our elected on the hourglass, which we paid for...
Now, Sally is gone. Just like that. She was like the only person I actually knew in that office and could help me. I miss her, and wish we could go back to before. I can oly imagine her and her family this Christmas. No egg timers on their list I'm sure.. Get rid of the hourglass and get back to just talking. And resort services? Really? TALK TO US!!!
mark twain didnt accomplish anything either.
dont like asymetrical politics?
stay tuned.
