If the DOT doesn't change its bylaws to prohibit the creation of new condo projects to rent by the night, the same thing will happen here only more of it if we ever get enough water to support some development.
Haven't you figured it out. There will be no "new condo projects". Tofino just does not approve them New Government housing only. You don't really want to own anything. You want to pay rent for the next forty years....right? All part of the new housing ethos.....less is more. There will be no new water for years.....many years. It is the new conservation ethos. You are better off with less.......much less. You will come to like it.
