You aren't following the directors propaganda correctly. It's those 300 people wanting to live and work here that are the problem. For someone to claim that they are in charge of community sustainability although hasn't taken into account commercial resort zoning's from a few decades ago isn't doing their job. Community sustainability is the tourist horde that comes here every year and leaves the community truckloads of money. If it wasn't for them we would still be washing each other shirts to support ourselves in the winter. Minor issue we have to pay for all these things to keep the tourist toilets empty and the sinks full.
Truckloads of money that inflate our economy, making our community unlivable to anyone trying to.... live here. Disneyland makes truckloads of money too. My guess is you are living in Fantasyland
Yes, Of coarse, there is plenty of money floating around in Tofino. Besides, "Is there no room in the workhouses", are the "temporary use zones" not fulfilling their purposes. If you don't like it we can always bring in some Uyghurs to replace you.
