Appearance notwithstanding, the world is not dead in Ucluelet ;-)
A dead whale floating in the ocean doesn't seem so unusual. Where else would a whale go to die? Now, if the whale were to be found dead in a dumpster on Industrial Way, that I would consider news.
in reading the comments to the CBC website - seems people believe animals don't die ... proof positive again that there is no cure for stupid.
