Isn't it apparent at this point the BC government has lost its mind. It is unable to discern the difference between damage and more damage. It's understandable that the US would be somewhat concerned with BC declaring small amounts of fentanyl are fine to have around. But only enough to kill around 5000 people. Does it surprise anybody that the US wants to put a stop to this madness.?
I can have 2.5 g of fentanyl per day in my possession and nothing really happens. There's no consequences for anything these days with the woke attitude towards crime. Catch and release. What a great concept. It is time that this mess stops now.

Josie for Fentanyl Czar !

She could encourage Canadians to do all the drugs before they are exported….. oh wait, guess she already does..

As we watch this story develop over the coming weeks we'll get a good picture of just how far out of her league Osborne is. Money laundering, international drug trafficking, opioid crisis, outrageous waiting times, lack of doctors and trained professionals, an aging population and limited funds. And she has to deal and negotiate with skilled professional people who won't believe or accept even one word of her practiced bullsh*t and manipulation of her office. You're not selling transit busses now, Josie.

We want DOGE. We want DOGE

No problem. Vote Conservative. Drain the Swamp.

For the provincial medical expert to suggest that addicts need to be given stronger doses of prescribed fentanyl to avoid users overdosing when attempting to get a little higher with a street version is insanity and total ignorance of what's wrong with the entire governments attitude towards drugs..... More, stronger drugs is not the answer to making the problem smaller. I hope you're listening Josie. if this government does not change its attitude and practises surrounding the drug epidemic don't be surprised if somebody else decides to do something about it.

9:29 You're right. All Josie's usual sanctimonious bumph won't work in this ministry. The fact that this leaked to the opposition is telling. There was also an embarrassing leak of an email re Hydro when she was the Energy minister. Wonder how long Eby will put up with her incompetence.

BC healthcare’s sole focus is MAID for seniors and MAID masked as an opioid crisis for the younger generations. Trump isn’t our enemy, he’s our way out.

DOGE is the best reality TV ever. I can't believe how quickly they can produce new episodes. Trudeau should consider the same for Canada to help improve the CBC ratings.

I’m hearing rumours that Team Canada is a cheap Chinese knock off!!

It's interesting to see the big approval ratings for Trump (as high as 69%) as the bureaucrats and government bigwigs scramble to find shelter from Elon Musk. People have been complaining for decades about "the swamp", they're delighted to see it cleaned out. There's another one, in Ottawa, one in Victoria, and another at the corner of Third and Campbell in Tofino. I can't wait to see if new leadership, hopefully, will do the same or similar here in Canada, once elected.
According to our constitution, government is supposed to serve the people. Somehow it's been turned around the other way. Instead of "public servants", we now have "parasites", and we must work almost half of the year to pay the taxes to support them. .....we haven't even begun talking about the fraud and theft and corruption and waste.
GO TRUMP!! GO ELON!! Teach us how, we got the same sickness here.

Team ottawa about as good as the Chiefs. There is no team Canada. In his defence Eby gave a good speech at INV games. Too bad he is all over on policy. A team of idiots and antisemites and a couple critical thinkers. we need help as a province to save us from ourselves.

Imagine if you will, being an American tourist in BC, and you come to the realization that the straw is illegal, but the cocaine is not.

The US now has a daily dashboard with real time reports on active reduction of government waste, fraud, abuse etc. In BC, Eby announces that it is a violation of shoplifters rights to share video of the theft. And he also suggests that the US took him seriously at the summit in Washington yesterday. RIGHT

Trump has never had a 69% approval rating.

Does the Czar of drugs and stuff know that the government in BC has normalized fentanyl use & created a huge market for it? So much so that if it's produced in BC, it's only logical that the surplus has to go someplace - possibly the US, Australia, Europe - wherever it can get to. So if this czar guy finds out about the fentanyl situation in BC, he's going to be really mad. He'll order a study for sure, convene a committee and a special task for us and about four or five years from now nothing will have happened...... Because the liberals think it's minor social problem that'll go away if you just pretend it's not there.
Meanwhile, a fair number of people continue to die every day.

So the MLA's got a raise that wasn't mentioned in the NDP campaign, and we lose our grocery rebate that was a vote buyer for their party. They could at least send out some coupons for a couple of safe supply pills for each of us!

Eby now projects record deficits. The NDP are starting to run out of other people’s money. He is talking about some state of the art renewables, quite possibly shipping wind to China. Hopefully it comes on line soon.

It’s National Flag day and I am going to a pro Palestine rally. Is it cool to burn the Canadian flag, or should I wait until tomorrow?
