It's not just the Provincial Government where the idiots are running the asylum...... Here in Tofino, there's a "professional employee of the district" searching facebook and any other place he can find searching for a place to live! Unbelievable!! They hired this poor guy, allowed him to re-locate here from Vancouver, and now expect him to find accomodations for the months of June, July, and August!! In Tofino!! Anyone who has lived here for even a short while knows full well that the poor chap is not likely to find any vacancies this time of year. What a horrible trick to pull on someone. Who hired this poor chap? Who's responsible for putting him in this impossible situation? Didn't anyone think to advise him not to move here unless he found accomodations first? Ask anyone who runs a business here and hires staff.....First question you ALWAYS ask them is "Do you have a place to live?" If I were him, I'd be talkin' to a lawyer.
