Before the election was called we were looking at two years with a government that doesn't know what to do. We know this, because if they knew what to do they would be doing it, nothing is stopping them.
If the NDP is re-elected, instead of two years we'll have a government that doesn't know what to do for the next four years.
Wow!! Eby saved us from Trump!! Better get out there and vote NDP, eh? This pipeline exists on paper only, another lie. Don't be fooled.
West Coast oil pipeline will be fast-tracked under the Major Projects Office. Ottawa is expected to officially designate the new pipeline from Alberta to the B.C. coast as a project of national interest, a path that would speed up regulatory approvals and consultations. While some Indigenous and environmental groups have voiced opposition, advocates say it will open up new markets for Canadian oil and produce billions of dollars in royalties for the government. (Globe and Mail)
Stand by for Act 2, upcoming soon...... the announcement of the huge new steps being taken to protect the marine environment....to be followed by Eby announcing the huge benefits to the first nations along the route.....
Told ya so....here's the crap you're supposed to believe.....
"Canada is facing continued trade tensions with the United States, as Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government works to navigate its difficult relationship with President Donald Trump. At the same time, Carney has announced a major new C$1.2 billion federal investment to protect Canada’s oceans and marine ecosystems... The funding will support expanded ocean monitoring, stronger Canadian Coast Guard capabilities, marine-science programs, search-and-rescue infrastructure, pollution-response systems, whale and marine-mammal protection, and conservation enforcement. More than C$740 million is planned for broader ocean conservation measures, while additional funding will support marine-life protection and Indigenous-led conservation initiatives.. Diana Fox Carney, the prime minister’s wife, has also been appointed Canada’s Ocean Envoy and Chair of the 2027 Our Ocean Conference. However, government records state that the position is voluntary and non-remunerated — the C$1.2 billion is a government-wide ocean-protection investment, not a payment to her. The announcement comes as Canada prepares for major West Coast infrastructure and possible increases in marine traffic, putting renewed attention on the country’s oceans, environmental protections and economic strategy.. The move is now adding another major issue to the broader debate over Carney’s government, Canada’s trade relationship with the United States, and how Ottawa is balancing economic development with environmental protection" .....they even managed to get the indigenous included. Great propoganda, sounds almost real.
