National Post: New figures show that B.C. is running up debt faster than any other subnational jurisdiction in North America, including famously indebted U.S. states such as California and New York.

The province’s deficit forecast now stands at $13.8 billion for the year, according to an update released this week by the B.C. Ministry of Finance. (That's MLA Josie Osborne)

That’s equivalent to $2,400 in new debt for every single resident of the province. Or, about $46 in new debt per resident, per week.

The figure not only dwarfs the relative debt accumulation of any other Canadian province, but of all 50 U.S. states.

The B.C. deficit is so high, in fact, that it will almost exactly match this year’s deficit in Ontario, a province with more than three times the population.

The good thing is that Healthcare, Education, Housing, Provincial Infrastructure, Unemployment, The Opioid Crisis, Over Immigration, Bloated Government, Procurement, The Resource Industries, Living Costs, Seniors Care, and Crime Reduction have never been managed so efficiently. It’s money well spent!!!!!!!! Eby says so.

Sorry, different topic.... but, OMG!

Canada now has an "Ocean Envoy"? Is this real?
Yes, this is real. On September 16, 2026, Canada's Minister of Fisheries, Joanne Thompson, announced the appointment of Diana Fox Carney as the country's first Ocean Envoy. She is a British-Canadian economist and the spouse of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
As Ocean Envoy, Fox Carney is tasked with advancing international cooperation and connecting ocean conservation, climate action, Indigenous-led stewardship, economic resilience, and maritime security.

....tasked with advancing indigenous led stewartship.....that's a surprise, eh?

Eby is a total POS. Calling an election during the municipal elections and with the opposition not having a leader is about as low as even a commie can go. If he gets another 4 years BC won’t be recognizable. Resources will be shut it, the debt will balloon, healthcare will worsen( if that is possible), land transfers will be the norm and housing will become debt handed down if your lucky enough to get into the market. The upside is the drug cartels will continue to flood the streets with opioids and their cash will continue to stimulate the economy. Also, the crisis will continue to create high paying government jobs. Hopefully this greaseball gets what he deserves at the polls.
