  1. The rental situation is bad. Simple supply and demand economics tell us that increased demand will raise prices.

Trudeau has announced that he intends to admit a million more immigrants in the next two years. There's nowhere available for rent for the people living here today, where does he intend to put these million people?
Not B.C. The current rental laws pretty much shut down the possibility of any developers building more rental housing. Only a fool would invest his money into a rental apartment building in B.C.

I once saw a scene in a movie where a British officer was commenting on his view of how the future of North America would include only two classes: Landowning gentry, and "the rabble". We are almost there. If you don't already own your land, it's unlikely that you ever will. And if you do own it, they're gonna tax you until you give it up.

The rabble. Let them eat cake.

  2. Why just yesterday, Gameshow Gord Johns spun the wheel of taxpayers fortune, and it landed on Trudeau giving out a one time payment of $500 for rent subsidiy to over 2 million people. And just like that the problem is solved. You can still get a cheap tent and a sleeping bag for $500 bucks, and if you pitch it in the right area the drugs are free. Can't wait for Monday's spin.

  3. Trudeau has turned the country into a kind of Ponzi scheme. He prints money and gives it to the voters, acquiring their votes in return. But will it ever catch up to him? Eventually there are more people collecting than contributing. The contributors pay more and more till some one notices we have lost contact with reality. The dollar is worthless and the country goes bankrupt. "budgets balance themselves" for a while.

  4. The official Canadian delegation to the 27th UN Climate Conference is made up of approximately 335 people,........ and they all flew there .
Think about that, and who's paying for it, and carbon taxes, and how any of this will reduce global warming in any way whatsoever.
But, it sounds good. Keeps the people distracted washing out their recycling and "doing their part" to save the planet........ Maybe they won't notice that they have no place to live and can't afford to get one.

  5. theys going to decide how much carbon tax money theys robbed us of to give to poor countries who can't afford to stop doing anything to stop doing it. its going to take all 330 coneheads from Canada to help decide this. until they all realize that canada needs some one to give us money to make up for the climate damage done by 330 people flying to Egypt and back.

  6. Aren't many of these countries ones that our grand fathers saved from the heavy boot of the Nazis whose mission was to enslave the world, and from incarceration at the tip of the Emperors sword whose mission it was to enslave the world.
And what did we do, terrible people that we were, after defeating these enemies of civilized behaviour we walked away. And against the great weight of history left these places in control of their own doing.
But we owe them because of the dreaded two headed carbon snake. We protected them, but apparently we could have done it better
Of coarse, I am a sinner Oh Lord, I will self flagellate, until the end of time, because we could not save everyone from themselves.

  7. The EA Commission is allowing us to observe just how corrupt our elected officials and their staff really are. Their answers under oath make the whole process appear to be nothing more than a kangaroo court. Changing the interpretation of the language used in the act to serve their own wants totally diminishes our democracy. How does Gord Johns sleep at night knowing that he and his colleagues are aiding and abetting all of the Liberal scandals?

  8. And while the EA is drawing the attention of the nation, the Liberals sneak in another gun ban. Now they are trying to add all center fire semiautomatic weapons to the list. Sadly, Gord will use this issue to try and score political points, as well as continuing to help Jagmeet get to his golden pension.

  9. Most corrupt government we've ever seen. Comparisons to his fathers invoking of the War Measures act are foolish. Then there were dead bodies, hostages, bombed mailboxes and institutions, and violent threatening manifestos, compared to Feb 2022 when we have clogged traffic, excessive honking and loud music. Trudeau acted for purely political and personal reasons. He saw an opportunity to further divide the nation and puff up his own ego. What a small minded man. Canada deserves better.
