Interesting reading of the DOT's Comprehensive Coastal Flood Risk Assessment Final Report. On Page 24 of the report it has Recommendations for Quick Wins and No-Regrets Actions. .....Reducing exposure to floods by avoiding or limiting future development in coastal flood hazard ares is key here.
So then the question will be why are the proposals for housing along Sharp Road being placed on the agenda of the regular council meeting the following day? Now that we know the risks, why the are we promoting developments there? It is just plain wrong to do it.
