....and from Nostradomus, we have this, just in: A vote for Josie Osborne is a vote to make Tofino's MLA an insignificant backbencher, a "former" failed minister. No influence, shunned, nothing for the riding. With her big minister's salary and expense account gone, she's not going to like the chop in pay. If she's ever re-elected,expect to see lots of days she's "not available". Betcha she won't serve out the term: "other opportunities to serve" will appear.
We don't have a OneBC candidate, that's ok, we have the opposite, we have the NDP's SOGI policy in our public schools. If you're in favor of social programming the minds of our children and having boys in girls washrooms, vote NDP.
Here's a list of the provincial government's major responsibilities. How do you rate the job that's been done by the NDP so far? 1. Health Care — Hospitals, MSP, mental health care, and ambulances. 2. Education & Child Care — Child care funding, K-12 public schools, curriculum, and universities. 3. Justice & Public Safety — Provincial courts, jails, policing standards, and emergency response. 4. Transportation & Infrastructure — Highways, bridges, and regional transit systems. 5. Social Services & Housing — Income assistance, disability support, child welfare, and housing programs. 6. Environment & Natural Resources — Provincial parks, climate action, forestry, mining, and agriculture.
I noticed that there's no Provincial Ministry of International trade, or foreign relations. No ability to impose tariffs. I'm still confused about this "standing up" thing. How does that work? I'm being protected? from Trump? from the USA? from Covid? again? Who is doing the protecting?
