As we watch in dismay while US democracy crumbles a little bit more every day, our own democracy falls apart in its own Canadian way. The US is allowing itself to fall apart from blatant criminality while we, smug in our own sense of political righteousness, would like to believe we're not like that. An illusion to be sure given the budget machinations of whichever party uses its power to give our money to their friends and acquaintances. It's not rocket science to figure out how this happens; it just goes with the territory.
Provincial politics is slightly different than national politics although a bit more noticeable if it has an effect on the BC taxpayer.This seems to have been going on for quite some time in BC politics with the party in power aiding and abetting the biggest swindle in North American history so far. All in secret. the swindle is the misrepresentation by the provincial government that the title to the property you bought is guaranteed indefeasible or fee simple without encumbrances, liens, or other charges or claims against it.
For any property owners in BC who have been following the news in the last few months, you may find it distressing that the governments guarantees are worthless. We've been swindled.That's bad enough, but to have the current government working in secret to support aboriginal claims to supplant over 100 years of government guaranteed titles to Properties in BC constitutes malfeasance of the worst most underhanded kind. crooks, guaranteeing they and their associates will be paid for litigation by the taxpayers for the next decade at least.
As Klaus Schwabe says: "you will own nothing and you will be happy!"
If there was ever a time for CanaDOGE, it is now. Drain the swamp.
I tire of the constant barrage of propaganda coming from so many “First Nations” and their supporters. When did they ever enjoy the current standard of living. Schooling, free money, transportation, personal security against attack from others. When did they ever enjoy the freedom of movement and peace. The apple is just sitting there waiting to be picked….get an education …. get a job….go into business…..do what you are good at. The world is yours. On reserve, off reserve, wherever you choose……Canada offers you more than you could have imagined just a few short generations ago…….Take a bite from that apple…..Enjoy. Play hockey, hit a baseball, sing a song, strum a guitar, build something, split some firewood. You are the ones creating a generation that is convinced it is useless, ripped off, and buggered. This is what freedom comes down to…..It is up to you.
instead of collecting an endless stream of grievances against everything about western civilization, can't we just appreciate the blessed state we're in and be kind to each other, regardless of ethnic backgrounds.
