The terms settler colonist seems to have been given to us by an Australian Marxist writer and are now being used as a derogatory slurs for anybody except indigenous people who inhabit North America. in the latest rage to invent new derogatory terms for different types of people please remember that civilization in general has evolved North American technology that gives all of us heated homes, electric lights, refrigerators, boats, motors, cars, trucks, trains, buses, computers, radios, televisions, chainsaws, dishwashers, hairdryers, sewing machines, mass production and so on. The same technology created the language that all of us use to call each other derogatory names. It would be nice if we all grew up and addressed all of us as who they are with a certain degree of respect. Instead of identifying with the new fad of hating people and their ideas.
Agree. You left out the nasty machines that were forced upon people, like X-rays, CAT scans, pacemakers, glasses, hearing aids, dentures, and ambulances. Lots of "victims" out there.

settler/colonists gave us the word 'victims'. It's a new concept because if slaves complained they were executed.
