Aren't there more important issues to be addressing? The conservative candidate could be a chimpanzee and would still get my vote over the clowns of the NDP. Sadly, whoever wins will be inheriting a shitshow with no clear path to recovery. Our medical system is on the verge of an implosion and a quick fix is not probable IMO. Our basic human needs as a society are not being met by a failing government and they want to discuss plastic straws.
Repealing the ban on plastic straws is meant to be the opposite of woke virtue signalling. NDP has brought us free drugs and drug paraphernalia, UNDRIP , “safe” injection and inhalation sites for drug users, have destroyed the natural resource economies and generally killed all hope for the younger generations. The potential end of the straw ban is symbolic of the end of woke nonsense.
I read that the Conservatives are leading the polls in the north, south, and Fraser valley and the NDP leads lower mainland and Vancouver Island. Wish there was some way that we could get the message out to the rest of the province that not everyone on the island supports the NDP. We also have a number of straight, employed, law abiding, healthy people with common sense among our population.
