This is shocking! Why didn't they approach our minister of energy, The Honorable Josie Osborne, for support from the provincial government on this green energy project?

Could be that someone had their hand out for too much money in order to approve the project

No . It’s that the approval process and the price of electricity are better elsewhere. Whether you are trying to get a building permit , rezone or develop anything the process is way too slow in BC .

I agree, Ralph, all levels of government contribute to this situation. Federal, provincial, and municipal.
So wouldn't one approach the government for assistance in overcoming these "bureaucratic logjams"? In this case I would think that the ministry of energy, mines and resources (hence minister Osborne) would be exactly the place to start.
As for the price of electricity, Site C is just now coming online..... but I suppose that power is already alloted to "friends".

These folks will need to learn how to make donations to political party re-election funds.

Or move their application to Quebec.
