  1. About time the Minister feels some heat. All I can remember is smarm and spin from the time she was on Council. Time for some straight talk and some answers.
    Trudeau... Look out.

Can't stand these kinds of politicians with no humility. Who are they working for......answer...Themselves.

  2. The conscious mandate behind her osbornes political activities stems from the concept of Eco business. Where people figure out how to make money from other peoples ecological/environmental activities. And in the case of politics it's simply standing in the way with your hand out before anything gets allowed to go forward. This technique seems to have permeated BC politics from the NDP on down to First Nations. There's no common sense involved at all. In fact the whole concept of Eco business was brought to us from the US smuggled into Tofino and other parts. Unfortunately thousands of people have been duped into thinking they're doing something about the environment when really they're only contributing to an additional system of skimming money out of everything using politics. For example: because a major environmental cause is to prohibit logging, granting money to the company to make electrified logging trucks is a nonstarter. However there is an extreme shortage of housing all across the country. Until another method of building besides using wood is invented there's only one way to make two by fours. And that is harvesting timber in a sustainable way and TRUCKING it to sawmills. So her Osborne's people know that it's OK to have your hand out for an approval and it may not happen.

  3. or, raw logs are TRUCKED to log ships or log barges headed to Asia. The profits from this wood, let alone the employment for processing, are nonexistent for Canadians. They go to the US shareholders of the companies that own the logging territories up here. Our brilliant BC Government gets to collect stumpage fees which are pennies compared to the value of wood leaving the country. And you don't get the stumpage fees until the trees are cut down. The government depends on a certain amount of stumpage fees to pay their bills. So how does this save the environment? This is how the real world works despite what conspiracy theorists believe about protests and environmental politicians........
