Obviously climate change was a problem before anyone realised. Extinction is coming. Repent sinners, Repent. The lord thy God will smite thee.

Why are there so few people in Tofino...It's July 1st weekend. Maybe 9:06 was right.

@ 8:30....On your next trip to Vancouver try asking people about Tofino. I hear 9 out of 10 people complain about how expensive it is. Our culinary scene use to be awesome. I don't mind paying for a good meal but now I usually walk away hungry and my wallet is empty when eating out in Tofino. Our food scene is not what it use to be. Hopefully we will get more local independently owned restaurants like JeJu & Schooner in town. We don't need anymore out of town owners setting up shop here IMO. Trying to support locally owned small business is key right now. Keep the money here instead of all the profits going to the mainland. Just my opinion but what do I know because I can barely afford to do anything here.

5:23 PM...You're confused. You apparently thought that it was about getting something to eat. Not in Tofino, my friend. Here, we feature the "dining experience". It's not about food. It's about "presentation".

I've heard only good things about Ronnie the BBQ guy, good food and serves the community also... a lot, I believe.

....lots of good food in Ucluelet. Nicer community too.

I hear the food in Tofino is better to look at than to eat. And cheaper too.

I wonder if the people complaining about Tofino being too expensive are the same ones who complained about it being too busy. Economics 101 - price constrains demand. Low prices and low demand don’t generally live together.

PS: lots of good meals made by hardworking local folks in town. And prices are comparable to the rest of the world. Try getting out of your mom’s basement every once in a while.

So let me get this right. 6:58 you prefer a Tofino that is "too busy" and "too expensive" because that suites you. Sounds so she-she. What about supply side, restrictions that hurt everyone. Where are the cheap fast food outlets? And what about restaurants that anyone who works here simply can not afford to eat at. Reality 101. All good I guess.

Ralph, as a reliable old sage when are you going to give us something to chew on as regards our pathetic failing water system.
