its apparent that this whole fiasco is a scheme to enrich some and not others i.e. people needing affordable housing. and at the expense of the taxpayers. right now there is no extra water for anything...unless council wants to give away any water from the firefighting reserve
12:35 You are only partly correct, while it will be a huge burden on the taxpayers, the housing will not be affordable for the majority of residents. As we enter water restrictions again this year, does it make sense to add yet more housing before our lack of water is addressed.

When Cathy herself was on Tofino council she emptied our "Parking in Lieu Fund”. These funds were meant to be used to fix the parking problem!! ,but instead used to turn parking spots into planter pots. (downtown revitalization fiasco) Just on Campbell St. alone they burned nearly $450.000 from the parking fund!! (That’s in addition to all the RMI Jackpot money they blew on that street)

I wonder why she didn't get re-elected. Couldn't she have done a better job of squandering our money than the current bunch? Yikes at that thought.
