About us The Ecolodge is a rewarding work environment hosting many different groups and guests from around the world. This 12 room Bed & Breakfast, located in the scenic Tofino Botanical Gardens fosters respect for the spectacular natural surroundings of the area and encourages staff to bring new ideas and unique skills to the table for the betterment our community and beyond. Key Attributes • Attention to detail: recognise inconsistencies in the lodge appearance • Able to clean and organise to meet high quality standards • Provide friendly but professional service to all guests • Physically able to complete tasks in a timely manner; good time management skills • Experience working independently and part of a team • Flexible with job duties and willing to take initiative • Interest in nature and love for the Tofino Botanical Gardens
Responsibilities • Cleaning rooms, communal bathrooms, living room, kitchen, classroom, vacation rental • Making beds, washing and folding laundry, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, steam cleaning, cleaning toilets, showers, sinks, windows, mirrors, washing dishes, cleaning the sanitizer, garbage, recycling, compost, setting up classroom, seasonal deep clean tasks and other duties as required. • Light front desk task • Answer the phone, emails, checking guests in and out, informing guests about activities in the area, potentially help make breakfast
