We cannot abandon, totally, the production of fossil fuel resources. We'll need fuel for the tanks and rockets that we're going to need to protect us when North Korea invades. Also, don't forget that there's going to be a great increase in demand for energy from the Americans, once their supplies from Mexico are cut off by Mr. Trump's wall. Obama's rejection of the Keystone Pipeline will be reversed following the massive GOP victory in the upcoming USA election, opening up large new markets for Alberta crude, and the upcoming trade war between China and the Americans will boost the price of oil, again, to over $100 a barrel. This is a good thing for Canada. Not only will we reap huge profits from the sale of our oil and gas, but the high price of oil will also result in nations like Saudi Arabia, and Iraq having large reserves of cash, which they will use to buy military equipment from our munitions manufacturers in Ontario and our aerospace producers in Quebec. This foolish talk of protecting the environment and promoting world peace is a dangerous concept which will only result in lost jobs, lack of growth, and a stagnant economy.

Not to mention all the LNG jobs promised at the last provincial election. Natural gas is Nature's way to cleanly transition away from conventional oil.

We have here the perfect example of a few individuals herding the rest of the sheep. Unfortunately they are not intelligent leaders because of their brainwashing by Al Gore. Instead they became even more stupid. Stupid enough to think that if we all shiver in the dark without fuel usage that we'll save the world for our children.

The rabble have control of the NDP just like the one that thrust the concept of a wonderful skating rink at the airport. If I recall the most vocal of them all was an NDP twit totally concerned with being green yet wanting to spend huge amounts of other people's money on a pet project that won't be environmentally responsible at all. They could start by banning the creation of environmentally harmful ice rinks. Just where do they think the energy to freeze that place will come from?

The fact is that there is no free lunch and an environmental price is paid for our very existence.

Leap Manifesto? More like 'The Great Flop of Idiocy'.

The leaders of LEAP are Gucci socialists. Most of them have never had a real job in their
entire lives that resembles the labour of the people they claim to represent. Most live
cushy lives and hobnob with the elite in capitalist society which they claim to oppose.
Toronto Yorkville restaurants and abodes are their stamping grounds. Nothing in common with ordinary Canadians and certainly those who struggle to make ends meet. A cruel joke.

The carbon tax is a joke to transfer the wealth of the many to the hands of the few. This Leaprosy plan is just an extension of it.
You have to follow the money folks. Perpetrated by Al Gore, the plan is to make Canadians beg to be taken over economically by the US for at that point we'll be freezing in the dark and will sell our souls to them to be warm and have jobs.
The electric cars they'd promote are another Leaprosy joke. The electrical grid will not be able to support them unless everyone shuts down their other power usage.
Just wait until the Leaprosy folks demand to be able to recharge their cars when they get home from their lobbying work at 4pm, just when normal high power usage begins.
I'm sure Gordo and his cronies would be the first on the gravy train to be consultants on the matter.
Leaprosy is a disease that needs wiping out before it spreads further.
