Yep, District Staff are getting to create a "Master Plan" for the Monk property. Here we go! Lots of hours to be booked in on this cash-cow. Braiden Smith trained these guys well, eh?They've already been alloted $40,000.00 from taxation towards the project, plus a $10,000.00 grant. I suppose they'll need to hire more staff to keep records. A disgusting, unnecessasary, use of public funds, when this project could easily be looked after by volunteers in the community. But council doesn't even consider this option. No, it's "refer it to staff" time, again. Why don't we simply elect 7 stumps to sit around the council table...... We'd get the same intellectual result.
Unfortunately for the stumps and especially the tax payers, the majority of the proposed tax increase is to pay for the increase in wages and benefits of staff, resulting from Union and management agreements.

Re:2:38 PM If you used your superior intelligence you would recognize that it is only a "Draft" budget and that the 7 stumps haven't approved it yet.
