  1. This isn't something that we here in Canada need to be concerned about. The Harper Government has this situation well under control, with a well thought out plan to tackle the issue of "climate change" (which hasn't actually been proven to exist) and all the supposed results of the phenomenon by the year 2050, So for the next 35 years, vote Conservative, shut up, and drink your kool-aid.

  2. Hey 12:44 Spoken like a true born again nut bar yourself. Every thing that happens is attributable to "Global Warming". Right... Who is drinking the cool aid? No one is denying Green House gasses and their effects but someone as educated as yourself should know that, El nino events have been happening since before the start of recorded history. And continue to happening periodically. sometimes every 10 to 20 years... The records of the Moche people of ancient Peru indicate El Nin0 events thousands of years ago, where the waters of Pacific adjacent to them, normally cold, warmed, and bringing a lot of rain to the deserts of North and central Peru. It caused flooding and washouts where they normally get no rain at all. It also causes a week hurricane season for the Atlantic coast of America and the Caribean. Higher altitude wind shear disrupting the formation and intensification of hurricanes in the Atlantic. The most serious affects may be felt in Southern California. The Winter storm pattern often takes a shift to the south with bigger more intense storms, hopefully ending their drought while causing coastal eroision and mudslides.... Best to double down on your insurance for So Cal waterfront Homes. More recently their have been two El ninos since the eighties and we survived quite well. The sky is not falling....Weather happens all the time.

  3. You people want to make Harper responsible for everything. Your explanations are lame but the majority will agree with your advise........:"So for the next 35 years, vote Conservative," Thanks another convert!!

  4. Is it a coincidence.....or is there a link between people who cannot spell or use proper grammar.... and people who vote Conservative? Really enlightening to see the use of the phrase "You people". Let's one know the type of person one is hearing from. But I do agree that Harper isn't responsible for this, he's only responsible for not doing anything about it. Of course, as 3:26 points out, there isn't any real proof of global warming or climate change..... it's just a "cycle" of weather. Yep. And "light" cigarettes aren't bad for you.

  5. Hello 5:35. Your spelling is great, you got all them words just right. However your comprehension, or rather lack of it, would indicate a need for remedial work. What part of" No one is denying Green House gasses and their effects" do you not understand. You have missed the point. As the article itself points out, El Nino is a naturally occurring event, and that is the point. Your assertion that "3:62 points out, there isn't any real proof of global warming or climate change", is completely false and irrelevant. How often do you go on these rages, tilting at windmills, fabricating arguments then besting them. Not surprising you bring to our attention that Harper is "responsible for not doing anything about it". What??? ....El Nino??? Get a grip.

I don't smoke, and I suggest you lay off the "light" cigarettes.
