A Question ?

Do you think that "strategic " voting is simply surrendering democracy to the pollsters ?

  1. Nothing, nothing, nothing, this election, is more important that getting rid of the Harper Conservatives, and then establishing government and election reform to ensure that something like we've seen in the past four years can never happen in Canada again. The fact that our democracy has been taken over by a select few (the rich and powerful corporate based elite), while the vast majority of our citizens have virtually been subujated to becoming nothing more than low paid servants to them is appalling. Strategic voting? Pollsters? It don't matter, put any name on it you like. Personally "ABC" (Anything but Conservative) has a really nice sound to it. Evil has taken over the halls of Parliament. We must end it. We must never allow it to happen again.

  5. Tofino ought to sponsor a couple dozen of those Syrian refugees....they could get jobs at the wick. Wouldn't do any harm, no one else wants to work there.

  6. It should be remembered that the government doesn't actually have any money, all the money belongs to the people of Canada. Foolishly, four years ago, we granted the Harper Conservatives the privledge of managing it on our behalf. Likewise with the enormous national debt, it also belongs to the people of Canada, and on Oct.20th Harper and his cronies will walk away not owing a cent, but instead entitiled to gold plated pension packages, which, incredibly, we the people will be required to pay to them..... along with paying OUR debt. Shouldn't political pensions somehow be tied to economic performance?

  7. .....! it ends up the 2013 budget where they passed that Bank Law what is it called? oh ya BAIL IN, instead of Bail Out. If your bank can't pay its debts it can now start robbing your savings, Their debts are your debts. It is called Bail In, I kid you not, thank you Conservative government.
