A comment on the blog suggested all they could expect from it was talk.I took this to heart and decided to clean a couple of signs.Using organic apple vinegar and a scrub brush made from hemp with a value added wood product handle I set about the task.Travel time included it took less than five minutes with a materials cost of about 15 cents. A passerby suggested that the growth on the signs was part of Council's green agenda........
this is just awful.
ReplyDeletewithout anybodys consent here you have destroyed old growth.
no permit, no due process, no direction from council.
wheres the friends off clayquot sound?
It starts with a sign and the next thing you know there will be logic in city hall. Please stop ! We need consultants to analyze these situations before action is taken.
ReplyDeleteEach sign is its own unique ecosystem within the Clayoquot Biosphere and should be preserved for future generations.
ReplyDeleteI was concerned that the invasive species on the signs were going to contaminate nearby sensitive riparian zones ( ditch ) .
ReplyDeleteIs this grandstanding the kickoff for your campaign ? Asshole !
ReplyDeleteHardly
ReplyDeleteRalph is no asshole - he is a sign of the times! But I hope he does run! - Raul Estate
