and while were on the topic of the new improved streetscape, including the sudden stop to a nonexistent bicycle lane, pause next time you're driving by cedar corner to enjoy the spectacle of people changing out of wetsuits on the new sidewalk. Since I've never seen anything like this before, I guess it's an improvement, watching jiggly people strip.
What is with the vehicles parking on the stone landscaping around the cedar corner building? Won't be long for all the oil drips to make that area look like **** When I went by today there was one parked ON the crosswalk bricks. The building has a usable parking lot.
Cedar corner is going to be loony. Parking is way to close to the stop sign and 3 meters away from the end of the corner is the requirement. people are parking the opposite way on it...crappy design no surprise. Welcome the million dollar block! and a clerk makes more than our planner?WTF

What did they ask ? Shoddy journalism
8:17 because they obviously can not read
They asked why the sign is located where it is.
Are they going to pour cement around those pylons? They may need them there permanently with the sign situated where it is.

These signs eliminate many parking spots. Bike lanes that go for one block ? Why has Tofino started a war on cars ? This isn't Vancouver.
The sign is gone- what happened
Re: 8:48AM
THe sign was temporary. The warning is to be painted on the road surface.

That was a pretty fancy looking set of temporary signs. :) More like semi-permanent to me, kind of like the construction.
