Many parks users were trying to park at Long Beach early this morning but the gates were locked.The same was true at Florencia Bay.Perhaps Parks Canada could open the gates earlier ??? Please ?? Many people want to go for a walk on the beach or go surfing before work......while I'm on the subject....Parks Canada won't allow any parking at Green Point although there is a large parking lot there.....if you want to use the beach there you have to rent a campsite !!!
Park officials have said they want to encourage wider use of the park and then they lock us out.....furthermore their pay parking sucks !!
