from CBC....
"Doerkson has laid out some of his government's early priorities, such as an independent review of provincial finances and an expert commission to keep hospital emergency rooms open and cut down wait times."

First thing to do is clean up the mess behind the outgoing finance minister, Josie Osborne. Next thing to do is clean up the mess behind the former health minister, Josie Osborne.

Don't expect too much from the new government for a few months, they're going to be kept busy cleaning up someone else's mess.

Josie will make a great NDP leader . Her strong record with previous cabinet positions will make her the leading candidate .

She won't stop there. She's not going to hitch up to that sinking ship. A political opportunist will always be schemeing for something more. The CEO of ICBC or BC Ferries gets $400K? Maybe Gord Johns is ready to award his successor? There's always the office of the lieutenant govenor.....so much out there. You can be sure of this: Josie Osborne will NOT sit out her term as MLA. Greener pastures will appear.

Think it was Doerkson who made the conflict of interest allegation against her re the sale of the Botanical Garden a few years ago. She was cleared by the conflict commissioner. Wonder if Doerkson plans to follow up now that he's in charge.

11:53 AM Conservatives aren't about to give Josie a job. In fact, think she could be targeted in the months to come for all the hospital ER closures during her time as health minister. Doerkson made reference to that at his news conference on Sunday, talking about parents with a sick child who find their local ER closed at 2:00 AM.

She says she's going to hold the Conservative government to account. How can she hope to do that? Anything she accuses them of not doing is going to be something that she should have done instead of having an election. Anything she accuses them of doing is guesswork and conjecture, they just got here.
She's going to be spending more time on defence than on offence. She's got a decade of NDP corruption and mismanagement to answer for. Let's start with the $13 billion. or was it $15?
It would be great to see the RCMP loading boxes of evidence from the search of her home.

1:21 PM An RCMP raid - with cameras rolling - would be very satisfying. And who knows, we might get some answers about where all those billions of dollars went. Would also like more info on the sale of the gardens - all with taxpayers money. And then the new government could take a look at her time as mayor, slamming vacation rentals while running her own tourist accommodation.

Saturday's provincial election delivered a crushing rejection of the NDP and its record of failed policies, reckless spending, and the disorder unleashed on our streets
David Eby called an early election, two years before it was required, believing British Columbians would reward him and the NDP with an even bigger majority. Instead, voters delivered a decisive repudiation of his government and its disastrous record.
The NDP has left British Columbians with record-high debt, mills shutting down, emergency room closures across the province, and families and our most vulnerable citizens feeling unsafe in their own communities. The NDP has left British Columbians with record high debt, mills being shut down, emergency room closures across the province, and families and our most vulnerable not feeling safe in their own communities. The defeat of the NDP marks a historic rejection of the policies that have devastated British Columbia's economy, undermined public safety, threatened property rights, and burdened taxpayers with mounting debt.

You're confusing her with Councillor Thicke!
